SWV Inks Deal With Mass Appeal Ent & E1 For New Album

It’s been over a decade since R&B has heard from the Sisters With Voices, but that is about to change soon. According to Singersroom, the veteran group is preparing to release their fourth studio album under Mass Appeal Entertainment and E1 Music.
SWV is also planning a tour as well as working on their own documentary series that will give fans an inner look to what has happened over the past thirteen years. Fans can get a more in depth look into their previous success, breakup, reunion, and return to music.
Currently there is no further information about the upcoming effort. However, they have tweeted that they are “hoping to work with [their] extended family such as Missy [Elliott], Rodney [Jerkins], Kwame, Lamb and more on this new project.” Fans can rejoice in knowing that they can expect to hear some of the ‘90s R&B in the 21st century.
“We are gonna keep it classic but also have a few surprises that will remind you of why you fell in love with SWV music,” they explained.
SWV entered the scene in the early 1990s and became one of the most successful R&B groups, with hits such as “Weak,” “Right Here (Human Nature Mix),” and “I’m So Into You.” Currently, they have show dates throughout June and July in the U.S. and Canada. —Connie T.
